Steve's Gear
Steve has used many pieces of equipment, including over 30 guitars, throughout his 22+ years of playing. Steve plays both classical and electric guitar. When playing classical guitar Steve prefers his Ramerez 1A. His favorite electrics are his 3 Fender Stratocaster HHs.
His electric setup currently consists of the following: - One of Steve's electric guitars connected to
- a Morley Bad Horsie II wah-wah pedal connected to
- a Digitech Whammy pedal connected to
- a Marshall JCM 900 amplifier (100 watt head) which is connected to either a Half or Full stack. This is where the dry part of Steve's signal comes from. The line-level signal then travels
- to an Ernie Ball Volume Pedal which is connected to
- a Boss RV-3 Reverb/Delay pedal (used for echos and delays) which is set for 100% wet output. The delay pedal is connected to
- a Fender Princeton 65 amplifier. Only the echoes come out of this amp.
- The two channel switches, by the way, are for the amplifiers. The Marshall can be changed between clean and dirty channels, and the Fender can be switched between clean and muted.
